Topic: Babyface - no input

Hi all,

after working fine for years my Babyface interface does not get any audio input anymore.
No matter whether I connect a microphone to one of the XLR inputs, or if I connect a guitar to the jack input at the side of the interface - the signal does not arrive at TotalMix.

Instead, in the input channels (AN 1 and AN 2) there is an irregular crackling noise. No idea where it comes from.

Windows 10.
TotalMix Version 1.61
BF driver 1.1.68.0

Do you have any idea what this is?

What Windows 10 pls ...
Could it perhaps be related to a Windows update from 1909 to 2004 ?

I'm still with Windows 10 Home, v. 1909.

Any other ideas?

Perhaps try other USB cable / USB port
Or try to connect it to another PC whether it makes a difference.
Maybe also reset TM FX ..

I tried all of this, including trying it on another PC. Unfortunaltely no difference.

Could this be a hardware error in the interface?
