Topic: Clock setup between UFX ii and lynx e22

I have the e22 aes i/o connected to the UFX ii and the word clock cable connected between them. The UFX ii has a green light on word and an orange light on host. Not sure this is correct, can you tell me M Carstens?

Thank you

That is fine, you should also see a solid green light for AES on the UFX2 (below Word Clock) if there is a connection from Lynx AES out to RME AES in.

Ok, well the Aes light did not light up, the only green light was the word clock light, however, the orange light for host stays lit. If I disconnect the word clock cable the only light is still the host light. If I disconnect the Aes cable the host light is still lit. Iā€™m still trying to figure it out. Suggestions are appreciated.

Stating the obvious: the Host LED signals active communication to the host. Remove the USB cable to see it go off.
