Topic: totalmix advice

Hi folks
I am using an HDSP 9624 card on windows 8.1.
I bought a sub to help out my Adam A7s below 60Hz.
L/R goes to the SPDIF out and the SPDIF signal is sent to 19/20 out to the sub.
I am not able to get the SPDIF fader to control both the L/R and 19/20 outputs simultaneously.
Is what I hope to accomplish not possible in Totalmix, or am I overlooking something?...I suspect the latter.
Thanks for your help.
cheers
Roly

What is a HDSP9624? And which version of TotalMix are you using?

Re: totalmix advice

Hi
Thanks for your help.
I goofed up....the card is an HDSP 9652.
I am using the most current driver for my card. Actually.....I don't know if updating the driver updates Total mix too.
Sorry for the mistake.
cheers

Re: totalmix advice

Hi folks

MC's link to the new totalmix manual contained the solution to my problem.
By linking the Main fader to the adat 19/20 fader, the output to my sub follows the main fader.
Thanks to all for your help.

Just in case you are curious, I live north of 60 in Canada.
Pretty sure  there are Scandinavian folks farther north than me who own RME products, but I bet my little RME rig is the most northern in North America.
