Topic: AIO problems

Hello, I am using REM HDSPe AIO. There is no sound at all outputs. In the device manager "Windows" writes that "the device is working fine." The indication is visually visible in the "Control Panel" in the "Sound" section. There is no indication in TotalMix. Please, say Me. What could be the problem? Maybe it's all about the TotalMix settings or the problem is in the rme HDSPe AIO board itself? Thank!

Re: AIO problems

I see no relationship to the topic discussed in this thread, would have been nice from you to open a separate thread for a different topic.

1st of all, about what sound do you talk, that is not working ?

Windows does not support ASIO, so you need to activate Windows compatible WDM devices in the RME settings dialog. Search for WDM in the manual.

For applications supporting ASIO, like a DAW or some musicplayer, you load the RME ASIO driver, then there are two choices:
a) normal TM FX mode .. you need to setup proper routing or
b) DAW mode routing happens by DAW (TM FX deactivated)

This is also explained in the manual.

More information you can also find in the RME Tutorial Videos or also by following a blog article which supports you to create a 1st setup:

Re: AIO problems

@ ramses: these two points are not explained in the outdated AIO manual. The manual to look in then is this global 'update' one:

Re: AIO problems

Check the number of active WDM devices in the HDSPe Settings window.
