Topic: [Fireface UC] How to get more analogue outputs

Hi guys,

this is my first post here on the forums as I just purchased a RME Fireface UC. :-)

I would like to use the Fireface for the following setup:

- Traktor running with 4 independent decks and every deck going out analogue into my mixer (Cinch), so this will be AN1-8.
- The Master-Out of my mixer will go into the Fireface again via AN3/4.

From here I want to do 2 things:
-Connect my monitors which require an analogue output.
-Copy this signal to lead into OBS.

Sending the signal into OBS will probably be easy via Loopback function?
But how can I connect my monitors? Is it possible to just connect a Y-cable to SPDIF, to receive a proper signal for my monitors?
Or will I need an additional converter? If so - which would be a good choice to not downgrade the sound with inferior additional hardware?

Something else I thought about:
Is there any way to have a stereo signal on a single analogue output with a stereo-jack?

As Traktor has an unsolved bug, where it crashes if ADAT is selected as Output Source in Traktor, I will not be able to use this. So I will need to use SPDIF. (https://www.native-instruments.com/foru … ct.224412/)

Kind regards! ;-)

Connect an additional AD/DA converter like the ADI-8 DS Mk III via ADAT.
