seit einiger Zeit macht meine Fireface 400 beim Betrieb mit dem Netzteil so laute anschwellende pumpende knarzende Geräusche, dass das Gerät umgehend ausgeschaltet werden muss, da ich ansonsten befürchte, dass die Boxen durchgehen.

Bei diesem Geschehen blinken alle Leuchten rythmisch zu den kanrzenden und pumpenden Gräuschen (schön ist das nicht) und die Anzeige der Auswahl der Ein- und Ausgänge hat nur die halbe Leuchtkraft und blinkt mit.

Wenn das Gerät über Firewire seinen Strom bekommt (6-pol) läuft alles normal.

Verursacht das Netzteil diesen defekt oder eine Stromaufnahme im Gerät selbst?

Ein Ersatznetzteil habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert.

Ist dieses Problem bekannt?

For some time now, my Fireface 400 has been making such loud swelling, pumping, creaking noises when used with the power supply that the device has to be switched off immediately, otherwise I fear that the speakers will go through.

During this process, all the lights flash rhythmically to the groaning and pumping noises (that's not nice) and the display of the selection of inputs and outputs only has half the luminosity and flashes with it.

If the device gets its power via Firewire (6-pin) everything runs normally.

Does the power supply cause it to be defective or does the device itself draw current?

I haven't tried a replacement power supply yet.

Is this a known problem?
