Topic: Babyface Pro FS Input Problem

Hey there,

I'm a longtime RME user but now when I'm installing the babyface for my wife I have a strange problem.

In Input1 is my Mic connected. I want to control the gain via Babyface.

When I press "In" and then turn the knob, nothing happens ins Totalmix.
I must press "Select + In" first - then I can control the gain of channel one like it is expected.

Why do I have to hit "Select + In" before I can control gain of Input 1. Is this normal?
At least I would expect that after I press "In" both channels 1+2 would be changed. But absolutely nothing happens as far as I can see.
Can I change this behaivior?

5.3. Bedienung am Gerät
Input Gains
Die Verstärkung der 4 analogen Eingänge lässt sich direkt über den großen Drehgeber einstellen. IN drücken um Eingang 1/2 oder 3/4 zu wählen, danach steppt SELECT durch linken, rechten und beide Kanäle. Selektierter Kanal und Höhe der Verstärkung werden über eine einzeln blinkende LED in den linken INPUT Level Metern signalisiert. Durch Drehung des Knopfes wird die Verstärkung erhöht oder gesenkt.
