Topic: Plugging two headphones at the same time

My friends,

I decided to pull the trigger and bought myself an RME ADI-2 DAC as my desktop amp/dac. I am soooo excited!

I have a quick question, that I haven't been able to find in the manual: Can you plug two headphones at the same time? Meaning, can I plug my IEMs and my full size cans to both outputs at the same time? Will this make any problem to the unit? I would like to do so to enjoy it with my wife.

Technically you can.
Practically, if the levels match between your and your wife's demand - there are no independent volume controls for the two outputs.
Read manual page 38.

Sometimes a passive volume control, like the Sennheiser HZR-6, can help if one of the 'phones is too loud.
Depending on the headphone it can change the sound - or not.
