Topic: Digiface & Windows: Aggregate ASIO Driver?

Greetings,

I use a Digiface and one of my devices streams audio via USB + ASIO driver to the PC.

Is it possible, to use/moinitor these audio channels with my Digiface?

I'm relatively new to the RME world so please excuse any dumb question.

Setup / purpose is still unclear to me, do you have a drawing which makes the use case clearer ?

Re: Digiface & Windows: Aggregate ASIO Driver?

I use a Roland TR-8S which I can connect via USB to my windows PC. There is a specific Roland ASIO driver availble, which makes it possible to use Inputs and Outputs in Any DAW. Nevertheless I have to use the Roland Driver as Main Audio Device in my DAW (but I prefer to use the RME Driver).

So can I route/access the audio streams from the Roland ASIO Driver within Totalmix? Windows recognizes the TR-8S channels as seperate audio devices.

And they are. Unless you feed the Roland's outputs into the Digiface (Virtual Loopback cable or physical cables) there is no way to get them into TotalMix.

Thanks, I will try to find a solution with these possibilities.
