Topic: latest UFX/madiface driver v0.9722 not working properly

Hi,

the latest drivers for my UFX interface, v 0.9722 are not working properly on my machine.
They cause a continous audio stuttering both in my DAW (Nuendo latest) and during music playback or while watching videos.

I am forced to download and install very old drivers from 2019 taken from this url:
https://archiv.rme-audio.de/downloads/driver/uc.php

Those drivers from 2019 work without any problems and without causing any stuttering or audio dropouts.
But the latest drivers are not working. I have tried it several times within 2 weeks with the same result.
The driver versions before v 0.9722 did also work flawlessly but I couldn´t find the page to download them.


I am on a windows 10, 64bit machine, latest build and updates installed.

Any help appreciated!

You have an UFX+ or UFX II?

v0.9721 is working without any problems!

Thanks enCiphered for trying out v0.9723. We optimized the memory routine that checks valid memory (and thus prevents the former BSOD as reported with ASIO pause and surprise removal in Roon, Foobar). In 0.9722 this routine caused a little overhead and thus performance. V 0.9723 is up on the website now.

Hello, I am using UFX+ as USB3.
I haven't installed updated drivers since 09716.
The installation screen does not appear after a short C++ related loading screen.
So I uninstalled the 09716 driver. However, any version of the driver after that is the same response.
So I have no choice but to use it again through Windows Restore.

It was the same problem last year when I was 09685, but I had to format the computer.

Windows10, logged in as an administrator, Windows10 is up to date, and ufx+ firmware is 52 revision.

Is there any other way besides computer format?

The driver will install two Net versions if not found on the computer. This may take some time, maybe up to 20 seconds. Try again and wait a bit. Else no one else has this problem, so it must be caused by software/drivers on your computer. You could check the DPINST.LOG file in Windows for details.
