Topic: Hardware Outputs not working in Class Compliant mode on UCX

Hello,

I have a Fireface UCX. I use it primarily with Linux in Class Compliant mode.
When I first got the unit, I created some mix setups on a PC and stored the setups in the Fireface UCX.
This allowed me to mirror main headphone output (7/8) to hardware outputs (5/6) to run to my speakers.
For some reason, it no longer sends audio output to hardware 5/6 when I am in CC mode on Linux.
It does send audio out HW 5/6 when I am using Total mix on a Windows machine.
Can anyone please help?

Thanks,
Edgar

Hi, you need to setup the routing from scratch on Linux i.e. in app like qJackCtl, Patchage or similar. TotalMix settings are not used in Linux in CC mode. You should be able to access inputs and outputs though and create routings using tools mentioned above. Ideally you save your routings and you can also set automatic patch loading on startup.
