Topic: 64 buffer

128 buffer works fine with no stuttering in Reaper but 64 stutters.  Is it possible to get 64 working?  All the usual bios, OS optimazitiins have been done.

I980x CPU, 12gb ram, ssd drives  rme 9652, windows 10 pro

Everything related to energy saving is off in the BIOS ?
C-States, P-States, T-States ?
Maybe even Speed Step to get a fix clock, that doesnt change ?

Check with LatencyMon, whether disabling speed steps results in benefits.

Or maybe this is a driver problem, that the driver blocks a core too long.

Thank you for the reply.  My bios had hyperthreading on and turbo boost on.  I turned them both off and 64 seems to be working now.  Thanks very much.
