Topic: TotalMix FX Changes detected

Hey RME family


I switched in my Studio from the Babyface Pro to the UFX II


Since i switched every time i start my PC it prompts up a window:

Changes detected. Channel, FX and Mix settings of Device and Totalmix are different.

Click Yes to use the Totalmix settings ( default )
Click No to upload the Device settings into TotalMix

Mix Settings can be estimated only



it doesn't matter if i click yes or no. Next time i fire up my PC it prompts up again. Never had this issue with the Babyface.
How can i fix this?


I use a Windows 10 PC and updated the rme driver and flash to the latest updates

UFX has memory to store last settings from operation.
On next startup TM FX detects a change between settings in the device and last stored config (maybe because you changed the output volume).
You can set in Preferences
- Device Handling -
[x] Always init DSP devices with TM FX settings
