Topic: ADI-2 FS - Line Out Volume Setting into SMSL 200 Amplifier - Need Help

Hi, new RME user here.... I love my new DAC/AMP...

I have my ADI2 DAC connected to my SMSL200 Headphone amplifier through the balanced Line Outs.

I guess I have the Line Out set to variable, since the RME DAC volume also can impact the volume of the Headphone Amp.

Should I have RMA ADI set to fixed output into the Amp? If not, is there a suggested Volume Out (-db) of the RME DAC into the Amp for best sound?
