What are the settings required to insert a Fireface UFX+ as a stand-alone preamp into a MADI chain with Micstasies and an Octamic XTC?

1) Sync to incoming MADI

using TotalMix or on the device:
2) pass MADI input to MADI Output for all channels that need to be passed on
3) route analog inputs to MADI output channels

Thanks Max. What about delay compensation, device ID etc?

Does not apply. UFX+ does not become a member with device ID and delay compensation.
It would be best to use the device at the beginning or end of the chain if delay compensation between the other devices is important.
