Topic: Cleaning ADI-2 DAC from dust

Hey.
Can anyone suggest how to properly clean the ADI-2 DAC from dust,
that gets through the cooling holes inside the case?

Thanks!

Do what I do.
Cover with cloth when no in use.
I use an amp cover.
Keeps dust away,  mines as good as new.

Heat rises through vents when on. Any dust will be pushed away. Same as an amp.
It’s only when cold and left uncovered that dust will settle.

Re: Cleaning ADI-2 DAC from dust

Hi David10,
I just let it live its life naked, and I dust it with a smooth cloth maybe twice a mounth, when I dust the other things in the room... I don't really think it's an important matter, very little dust can go inside, I really don't think it will be a problem a day (and the DAC does not heat at all, so nevermind)....

+1.

Prevention is the best Solution. smile

Failing that, Noobs "routine dusting" is a fine option.   I cover my ADI-2DAC with a Cloth when not in use for an extended period.   When I'm home, a few swipes with a "Swiffer" Microfiber Dusting "Thing" keeps Gear looking Factory Fresh.

Find "Swiffer" at most Grocery, or Department Stores.
