Topic: Babyface inputs 1/2 volume differences issue

Hope i can make my issue clear,so that someone can help me understand how to fix this issue.

I'm using Babyface inputs 1/2 to receive the signal from outputs 1/2 or 3/4 to my DAW (Cubase) .
The input levels coming back are not in the same volume - analog 2 (or left channel)  is lower by 12db.
All the inputs channel gain is on 0.

The main use of it is to send audio out of my DAW to external HW and back.

I know for sure that it was working fine till a month ago, nothing happened to the device since then.

I tried to contact stereo synth, same issue.

I also connected the inputs and outputs of the RME directly to each other, and still there is the same volume difference.

I can see in TM that the signal going out is fine in levels (software playback and HW outputs)

I reset the TM mix few times, nothing helps.

What am i missing? Thanks in advance!

With the old babyface the breakout cable is the typical culprit. Did you try to swap left and right output cable? Is that XLR or RCA?

Thank you very much for your answer,

It's XLR.
When I switched the outputs, it's still the analog 2 input that is lower in level.

Thanks a lot
