Topic: HDSPe Madi FX with Mac Pro 2019

Hi there, I'd like to upgrade to a Mac Pro 2019 because my Hackintosh is almost 10 years old. I'm using a HDSPe Madi FX in combination with a SSL Alpha Link to connect my Mixing Console. I'd like to keep this setup. Is the HDSPe Madi FX compatible with the new Mac Pro 2019? Any experience? If so, should I use x8 Slots? Because HDSPe Madi FX is a single lane?

This should be similar to PC .. theoretically you can use any PCIe slot even if the card only requires one PCIe lane.
You only should check whether placing something e.g. into a 2nd x16 socket, that this does not impact the transfer speed of your main GPU or some sockets might share PCIe lanes with other HW.
