Topic: Is there a PCIe version of RME HDSP PCI Card Interface

Hey all,
I'm using two Multifaces under Win7 since years. I'm realy satisfied with the Multiface.
Now I'm has to update my PC Hardware.

Therefore my question: Is there a PCIe version of old RME HDSP PCI Interface Cards?

If not: Is there any other PCIe controller card for the Multifaces existing?
In other word: Is there any way to connect a Multiface I/O Box to a modern Motherboard?

Greetings!

Re: Is there a PCIe version of RME HDSP PCI Card Interface

Yes, but the PCIe card is also no longer manufactured. You can only try your luck on ebay.
Users have successfully run the PCI card in a PCIe-PCI adapter, but this requires shortening the card's slot board.

ok, thank you.
Another short question: What is the best RME product, if I had to switch my Audio-System?
In other words: Which RME product has minimum the same In and Out options as the Multiface? (8in 8out, adat, [midi])

Fireface UC or UCX are similar...
