Topic: Problem Fireface UC + Ableton Live 10

HEllo,

I just bought the fireface UC.
I use it with ableton Live 10 and Mac OS Catalina 10.15

When I play in Ableton Live only a wave file without any Plug Ins and Freq 44100 and 512 samples

The sound is crackling and sometimes the play stops for a second.

For info when a read a mp3 with Itunes and fireface it works goods

Can you help me ?

It would be useful to add information about your computer (model, cpu) and
which exact Catalina version you use, is it the latest 10.15.7 ?

Are you using a hub or a direct port on the computer?
Did you try all USB ports on that computer and maybe without connecting other stuff?

Do you use WLAN or LAN while this crackling happens ?
Or are other programs running in parallel maybe occupying the CPU of your system too much ?

Also try another USB cable.

Also this looks more like a question for Ableton support. Known are graphics problems on some systems that can be cured by reducing the refresh rate:
