Topic: Only one fireface 800 showing up in cubase

Hi,

As above I have connected up two fireface 800’s using the method I got from the rme website. Ie fireface 800 card on computer into 800 in on fireface 1, fireface 1 connected to 800 on fireface 2
Clock out for ff1 into clock of ff2 and 75 ohm switched engaged. Then on fireface settings set 1 as master and one as slave. Despite all this, when I go into asio settings of cubase, only the 8 channels, channel 9&10, 8 adat channel and spdif from fireface 1 are showing up..
any ideas?
Oh ps, the one thing strange about my setup is I’m still on win XP! I couldn’t afford at this point to replace everything.

In cubase you have to click a reset device under the devices fireface menu. Maybe also where you make the audio in out connections in cubase. Cubase is using your old setup cause it is still there...I just need to rescan asio devices.
