Topic: POP when turning off UCX

Is it possible to get rid of the annoying POP when turning off UCX? The POP is cuite sharp and high.

I know that I can turn off the amps before. I want to use auto turn off for my amps.

Re: POP when turning off UCX

AFAIR only the larger interfaces have a pop suppression when turning on/off, otherwise only on phones outputs.
See my Excel, its listed there.

A solution might be to turn down the volume at the monitors (if they have a volume control)
or to use a monitor controller or to use fix or variable attenuators, see this sticky article:

Re: POP when turning off UCX

Which one is the larger interfaces? UFX II ?

What does AFAIR means?

Re: POP when turning off UCX

Please see the Excel line 82: "Damping of the switch-on crackling", so to say: 802, UFX, UFX II, UFX+.

Internet jargon, "As Far As I Remember"
