Topic: Original Babyface: Can't get audio input to work

I've had the original Babyface for many, many years, and while I am happy with the interface itself, the Totalmix software has always been a source of confusion and frustration.

And it continues now that I am trying to get the external audio input (on the right of the interface) to show up in Totalmix ...

I have connected a synth into the input. I can see there is a signal going into the Babyface, because the LEDs on the interface are moving. However, nothing in Totalmix. Silence.

I have checked the manual, and notice the Hardware Inputs options for channel 2 looks nothing like mine ... lots more options, including 48V etc.

I have included screen shots of my Totalmix Hardware Inputs, and how the manual says it should look.

What exactly is going on here? How can I get audio through the hardware input into Totalmix ...?

And this is from the manual:

Re: Original Babyface: Can't get audio input to work

Hi, your totalmix shows Adat inputs so it's normal that you have less options.
If you connect something to the channel 2, you should look at "AN2" in the Totalmix.
