Topic: babyface pro fs, right channel doesn't work on headphone outputs

Hello! Recently I bought brand new babyface pro fs, but I have some problems.

Sometimes the right channel in both headphone outputs of audio interface just stop works. But left channel works well.

PS: Reconnecting USB cable solve problem, but it again appear later.

You see this effect in the TotalMix level meters and the meters on the unit? You checked that the TM FX settings, routings and faders did not change?

Meters on the unit and in total mix show correct level for both channels, in total mix I reset all settings to default, but it doesn't have effect.

Changing volume on unit and total mix faders work only for left channel

Have you tried different headphones? Sometimes the tolerance on jack plugs is slightly out. I’ve had headphones work great in one device and suffer similar problems you have in another device.

Babyface Pro Fs, Behringer ADA8200, win 10/11 PCs, Cubase/Wavelab, Adam A7X monitors.

Yes, I tried different headphones in both outputs, but no change.

Can be static electricity reason of that?

Re: babyface pro fs, right channel doesn't work on headphone outputs

Not really. If you see levels for both channels even at the unit the DAC gets the correct information, so one channel after that is affected. Maybe the unit needs to be replaced.

BTW, you inserted the angled USB connector into the BF fully? It must dive a bit into the housing so that it is fully fixed.

Yes, of course cable fully inserted.

Looks like I need to go my local dealer for replacement smile
