Read back reported errors at 9D8.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Re: ARC Firmware 7 uploading error

Did you follow the instructions carefully? Then try it on a different computer.

Re: ARC Firmware 7 uploading error

Yes, I connected to usb holding "talkback" and "dim" buttons and after opened updater.
(total mix, total mix fx and Fireface usb settings were closed)
Thanks, I'll try.

Re: ARC Firmware 7 uploading error

Same here, and unfortunately I don't have access to another Mac at the moment.
Is there a version for Windows also I can try?

Greetings

Same issue.

macOS Monterey 12.4 / MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020

Re: ARC Firmware 7 uploading error

I saw the same, Intel Mac Monterey 12.3.1, but the error message seems to be wrong. I ran the updater app again and it shows v7 is in the unit.

Re: ARC Firmware 7 uploading error

I also tried flashing from v6 to v7. RME instructions followed carefully.

Update tool updates page 100,200 etc, then reads back and gives on the end the following error (exact as 1st post)
"Read back reported errors at 9D8, Please close FlashTool, disconnect ARC USB and try again."

I have repeated the process three times more, always same 9D8 read error.
I have rebooted computer, tried with another cable, same read error
I have relocated flash tool app to desktop, same read error

Regardless the fut app now says ARC USB is v7 and the ARC USB connects to TM. Intel Mac Montery 12.3.1.

Re: ARC Firmware 7 uploading error

Sorry for the incomvenience. In fact since Monterey the readback at the end of the flash process fails. The readback is not necesssary so we removed it. I uploaded a new FUT that no longer performs the readback.
