Topic: User manual for DigiCheck wanted !

Is there a DigiCheck user manual available as pdf ?

I would like to know :
what is Digicheck monitoring ?
I can't choose a channel for monitor it, correct ?
I'd like to monitor the main out of the DAW.
Or any Babyface Out stereo channel.
Or any Software output (middle row in totalmix).
And any input channel as desired.

Is this possible ?
thanks

Re: User manual for DigiCheck wanted !

i did try this but Help is not ailable for Digicheck NG... ?

My apologize !
I should be more acurate with my question.
It is the Digicheck NG i am trying out.

The NG is probably not yet finished with all features.
The preferences menu is not active, the help is not available and there is another issue :
The Multichannel Level Meter shows a signal, but all the other instruments shows no signal.
The signal is AN1/2 Software playback and the MCLM shows this on channels 11 and 12.
MBA-M1 with Babyface silver. Standard Digicheck is not working on the M1 computer, only the Digicheck NG.

Re: User manual for DigiCheck wanted !

As with the old Mac DIGICheck you can not see playback signals. This only works under Windows. What you see here is the usually invisible FX bus from TM FX to the CPU.

All the rest - right mouse click on the instrument you want to change...

Or Menu - Options - Instrument....no clue how one can not find this.

Re: User manual for DigiCheck wanted !

Thank you very much !
I was too busy in stress.
I never did any configuration or selecting of channels in the old DC, when the signal arrived it was shown on all instruments.
Right-click on the instrument helped me out and of course in the options menu everything is there.

I had to do the loopback trick in Totalmix and now I can watch everything in the DC.
It works fantastic !
New Apple chip M1 comes out and RME is just ready with all !
How magic is that !

Two issues with totalmix :
Full screen mode is cutting off a part from the top row, half of the gain knobs is away, not visible.

The fader is not corresponding with the Babyface.
When i lower the level of the headphone output, the signalpeegel meter is lowering in Totalmix just fine but the Fader stands still and when touching the fader with the mouse it makes a loudnes jump and hit my ears.

What am I doing wrong this time?

Re: User manual for DigiCheck wanted !

There is no full screen mode, but different Zoom scales to choose. Just use one that fits.

It is the green knob top right on the program window frame and also it is in the menu window / Enter full screen. Shall I upload a screenshot ? https://www.dropbox.com/s/s1rztedcw97sn … f.png?dl=0

Re: User manual for DigiCheck wanted !

The OS full screen mode works correctly under 10.15.7 and below. So Apple changed something again...

Re: User manual for DigiCheck wanted !

this is the case, I agree.
Changing things as soon as everybody feels comfortable is what they do all the time.
Next is the Apple-internet. only Websites licensed and certified by apple are visible on macs.
If an update of TM will fix it, would be great, otherwise it is ok.

I run MacOS, but would like to use DigiCheck at my PC via loopback, tried and it works, and the DigiCheck manual is the help files (F1)?
