Topic: Big Sur - Babyface (original) - not recognised

About two or three weeks after the Big Sur update from Catalina

The Babyface now only shows up in CC mode.
Big Sur 11.1
2018 Mac Mini
firmware 225
driver 3.24

When I reinstall the driver and go to 'security' and allow the rme driver, it doesn't stick. The next time I open security it is still there, unchecked. I reinstalled to make sure I was within the 30 minute limit, but no change.

works fine in Class Compliant mode

Can't understand what you mean, The Babyface now only shows up in CC mode.
It shows up in CC ? It become CC by itself when you connect it to the computer ?
My Babyface must be set to CC by hand. And then it will not get recognized from the computer.
May be your Babyface is in CC mode all the time ?
Push and hold the two buttons "select" and "recall" during connecting to power, USB cable to computer.
This will change the mode, LEDs do not flash then.
Disconnect everything and reconnect the Babyface to your computer, it should be recognized and locked (watch the settings dialog) and open Totalmix.
