Topic: MADI XT working with smaart 7 using mac High sierra OS

hello Guys,

i am trying to get my MADI XT to work with smaart 7 how ever all connected mac sees the RME but in smaart 7 no movement at all.

what am i doing wrong.

i guessing it's not the mac  as it sees the mic and so on the rme is fully functional.

please advice..

also posting this in the smaart forum just checking both ways.

Is this Smaart 7 siftware working without external audio device ?
Just the mac alone ?
If yes, then reconnect the audio-interface and go into the system Preferences of OSX.
Go into the menu audio.
Input and output device can be selected there, you shall choose the RME audio-interface.
Done ?
Signal visible in Smaart ?
