Topic: Buffer size of UFX II with Windows PC

What is the minimum buffer size that can be selected with the new version of UFX (UFX II)?

Currently I'm using an old UFX via USB, with a minimum of 48 samples on 44.1khz with Windows.
For using VST more real time, I'd like 32 samples on a Mac, but I like Windows...

regards.

The MADIface minimum ASIO buffer size is 32.

Re: Buffer size of UFX II with Windows PC

48 samples on a RME driver converts to really low latency. I’m sure we are looking at combined input and output latency of less than 3ms. I use edrums to trigger SD3 and run at 64 samples which feels great.

Possible with UFX+ with either Thunderbolt or USB3, here some example values from my blog article about the differences between UFX and UFX+/UFX II: https://www.tonstudio-forum.de/blog/ind … 8-RME-UFX/
