Topic: FF800 with windows 10 - no sound

I want to use my dear FF800 on a new PC with Windows 10 (former one was Windows 7 and worked perfectly). I installed new driver, firmware, Legacy Driver, PC recognizes interface and all settings and connections seem OK but when I do the speaker testing or want to play a piece of music, the red "host" light turns on and no audio comes out. HELP!

And if you try to get some sound into the computer ?
May be from a keyboard and try to record it into a DAW ?

Sounds like the FireWire interface on the computer is buggy. What FW chip is that?

The FireWire chip is newly bought and has the following specs:
StarTechcom - PEX1394A2V2 - CAN ICES-3(8)/NMB-3(8)
828OEL_V2.0 - Made in Taiwan
production date: 10/2020

I would try a different card.

Thank you Matthias for your advice. I changed the card to a different brand (Digitus) and indeed everything works perfect now. Hallelujah!
