Topic: MIC/INST input problem UFX2

welcome.
Today i realise something what makes me worry a bit.
I was trying connect stereo synth to inputs 11/12 but i get signal only from one channel.
Than i connect mono synth to channel which was problematic so i get sound but around half of the normal volume.
When i turn up gain of this input without anything connected i receive noise louder like in another MIC input.
If there is any chance that total reinstall drivers or factory reset can solve it?
Was trying mess a bit in TotalMix but not results.
Even Total Reset Mix does not work with this issue.
Hope dont have to send to service...
Any ideas?

Is this input set to instrument input ?
Can you select Line as input selection ?
Is phantompower off on this input ? It should.
What plug has your cable ? XLR or jack ?

Yes, i can switch to instrument in TotalMix but the same.
But...i was using good quality cable(oyaide) xlr-trs
Now i try with only Ts-Ts and seems to be much better but still one channel is louder around 5-10 procent than second one in stereo link.

Did you try the other inputs of the UFX ?
You also can try a total reset in Totalmix.

Sounds like a hardware defect, so needs to be sent in for checking.

Yes, i am affraid you are right...luckly there is still warranty and there is no way that fault is on my side...i dont have even idea what i could do that this can happend. Time for RME service experience smile
