Topic: HDSP 9632 with UCX

Hi All
I purchased the 9632 and the 4 ch expansion card that you can use with it.
I own a UCX already.
Question- Is there any way i can run these units on one computer at the same time ,to create as many audio ch as possible?
I do not do do any recording ,only need the audio ch for audio output.( Hauptwerk)
Can the UCX act as an ADAT for the 9632?
Would love to hear from anyone who has any info

Yes you can. 9632 adat out to ucx in. Set clock of ucx to adat. Configure ucx tmfx to route adat ins to analog outs and no other in or outs. If working, save settings to ucx for offline.

So the only connection for the UCX will be the power to the unit and the ADAT in from the 9632?

I mean i think the UCX is controlled by the the computer?
So i think to change any settings and save them ,the UCX has to connected to the computer via Firewire -USB?
