Topic: Vertical dark-out lines on the screen of ADI-2 pro FS

Hello

I live in Los Angeles. I have a used ADI-2 pro FS bought form an individual in Netherland via Reverb.com. It worked well but the screen has shown some vertical dark lines after several months of use, and the problem got worse and worse. Now nearly half of the screen is black.

The US dealer Synthax seemed reluctant to take care of it because I didn't buy through them. I wonder how else can I get it fixed?

Thank you!

If you don't care about warranty, You can purchase the display and replace by yourself.

Perhaps purchasing from the manufacturer will be cheaper: http://rocktech.com.hk/

Otherwise find the original dealer or RME customer service and they will take care of you

Re: Vertical dark-out lines on the screen of ADI-2 pro FS

Seems the web store has stopped selling this display.

https://www.rme-shop.com/cgi-bin/sh0018 … ml#SID=113

It shows:
RME has changed the type and size of their OLED's and replacing the oled needs a new front panel and hardware modifications we suggest that you contact your local RME distibutor to have it replaced.

I wonder if I can still order one?

BTW, the page misspelled "distributer".

And the screen has never been OLED...

It is very hard to exchange the display yourself. It is partly glued. Please contact your local distributor for service options or instructions to get the display repaired.
