Topic: Using ADI-2 DAC as a class 1 device

Hi guys,

I wonder if it is possible to use the ADI-2 DAC as a usb class 1 device in windows 7. I know that this device is directly supported in windows 10 as a usb class 2 (UAC 2) device. This is quite useful on a computer without installing any drivers, although the feature set might be limited. I remember that RME Babyface Pro worked very well as a usb class 1 device.

Does anyone know if this is possible with the ADI-2 DAC, or are drivers required in all circumstances?

No RME interface supports UAC1. Only UAC2. The BF Pro also does only UAC2.

Thanks, I might have been confused about the devices. Driver installation is pretty painless anyway.
