Topic: FF 800 via Firewire-Thunderbold adapter on Windows 8.1?

Hi Folks,

did anyone managed to run the Fireface 800 via Apple`s Firewire-Thunderbold adapter on Windows 8.1 64 bit?

With the latest drivers 3125 it appears under the Thunderbold console as recognised device but it wont show up as a selectable audio device under Windows 8.1 64 bit.

Windows driver info has flagged the driver as yellow by saying "driver can`t be loaded´


Any advise? Maybe an older driver? Or does it maybe will not run at all via the Firewire-Thunderbold adapter?

Your Thunderbolt equipped computer might be incompatible to the Apple adapter. The Startech one will work even with older TB implementations.
