Hi all, I am using a Fireface UCX with Firewire connection and I don't have audio.
Firewire driver is installed.
The device is recognized by Windows and multiple other programs.
MIDI works.
But no audio. For instance, Youtube video's don't play.
The red Host LED is on.
Everything worked fine with USB.
Please help 
If I remember right: if you switch between USB and FW it can be the case that the required WDM devices are not configured anymore for Windows audio. Check WDM settings in RME driver settings and Windows audio whether the correct speaker symbol is set as default audio device. Otherwise double-check routing and reset Mix.
Thanks a lot for the quick reply! The number of WDM Devices is set to 9 in the Fireface settings, is that correct? The correct device is selected in Windows audio as the default. I have done a total reset of the mixer settings. Unfortunately, to no avail. Any advice?
By the way, I am using ASIO driver in other programs (e.g. Reaper).

"no audio" where? Not even in the Software Playback section in Totalmix?

Then the unit is not recognized by the computer, and MIDI won't work either. Your FireWire connection needs to be checked, it doesn't work.
