Topic: [Solved] Input monitoring in Logic. Hearing double

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is a problem in Logic or the TotalMix FX.
I'm going nuts.
I want to record my voice in Logic through a Babyface pro but only hear the effected signal from the channel in logic. In this case the waves tune real time.

Going through channel 1. Channel one is muted in TMFX, faders down etc so I don't hear my voice through the headphones directly
from the RME Babyface.
Software monitoring is enabled in Logic.
When I click the I button on the channel in logic I hear both the original signal AND the one thats going through the effects
on the Logic channel strip.
I can not figure out for the life of me how to turn original signal off. I've tried everything in Logic. TMFX is a mystery to me. I've muted channels, turned down faders etc etc no joy at all.
Anyone know what this might be??

In Totalmix click the headphone output channel to highlight it.
Then doubleclick the first fader from left in the middle row.this is the signal from Logic and it is going to the headphone now.

In Youtube there are some very good videos explaining how Totalmix works.
I recommend to watch those.

Thanks Waedi,
