Topic: Random dropouts with Babyface and iPad Pro 2021

Hi All,

I'm getting seemingly random dropouts with an original Babyface (CC mode). They are occurring every two minutes or so and last about 0.25-0.5s. Sometimes it can even run for 3-4 minutes without a dropout. I'm using the 1st party Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter.

They happen when using AUM or Cubasis, or even just any playback source from the iPad (Spotify etc.).

Any ideas?

May be the firmware needs update ?

May you can get an USB-C cable and connect the Babyface to the iPad Pro directly without the adapter ?

That's a good suggestion. I'll grab a usb-b to usb-c cable and see if that helps.
