Topic: Audio signals from linked FF800 only plays thru Master 1/2 Output

Greetings RME Community

I am struggling with sending audio out the 8 individual outputs on my linked FF800. The Host is a FF400 connected by firewire and 2 optical links. I can send audio out the extra 4 outputs on my FF400, but I would like to use the 8 outputs on the linked FF800 instead to utilize the 8 inputs on my mixer and 8 track tape machine. So far only the Master 1/2 Output on the linked FF800 passes audio. I feel like I've tried all options and would greatly appreciate the help achieving individual routing from each output.

The FF800 may need some configurations.
For checking this you have to connect the FF800 to the computer and open Totalmix.
To begin with I would do a total reset.
Then reconnect to the FF400 with adat and see if it changed.
If not then some routings in FF800-Totalmix can help.
For example Input Adat 5/6 routing to output analog 5/6 and all involved faders up to zero.
All adat Ins to the analog Outs with faders up.
And of course the same in the FF400-Totalmix, be sure to send something to the adat output.
