Topic: RME Fireface UC Driver date: 04.05.21 (stutter/delay issue)

Hi guys,
I updated my fireface driver to Version 1.212.

Note: I am using a Fireface UC.

It has resulted in audible stuttering and has crashed my file explorer on several occasions.
I haven't made any other changes and the previous driver was causing no trouble.

I'm not sure what to say, everything appears correct and in order.
Can someone suggest a few things I can try on my end please.
(I am aware I could just revert to previous driver but, I would prefer not to)

Ok, this may be of use to some.

A solution I found was to reconfigure my Speakers in Sound Control Panel.
Setting it to Stereo and then back to Surround seems to have reset something that was astray.

Unfortunately I have no useful tech understanding to back-up this claim but, the issue is no longer present now.
