MADI FX PCIe on windows 10
Just updated from 5.92 to 5.94.
I have 4 DC open:
2x multichannel meter for MADI
2x Totalyzer for AES EBU (in and out)
everything seems to work but the playback totalyzer...
Any ideas?

1. Totalyzer requires ASIO.
2. If you start by loading a workspace then playback meters will not start. They need to run before loading. That is a known bug and will be fixed some day.

Well DC Totalyzer always worked even with
Youtube in Chrome via windows audio drivers.
Anyway it also does not work in ASIO with wavelab 10 pro now.
Did try to start/stop. Restart DC..all other DC windows work but the playback on AESEBU.
I can start DC 5.92 whenever i want with a workspace shortcut and it will work just fine.
It did not matter if I was running Nuendo already or after I started the workspace.
What details do you need. I am happy to help.
Or I will just roll back to 5.92 like with 5.93.
There I had the same problem.

So is my point 2 your problem? You mention exactly that what won't work - starting DC with a workspace shortcut. Exit DC and start it by calling the app itself. It has remembered the last state (of said workspace), but now Playback Level meters will work.
Ok got it. If I start DC and choose Totalyzer and set the right channels it works.
But not if start by loading my beloved workspace.
If I then load the workspace it coninues to work.
Got it.
Should I create a new workspace? Will this solve the problem?

A new workspace won't help. Just perform your workaround until we release a bugfix.

Something like this makes RME a really professional brand. Never seen such a fast fix.

BTW yesterday I stumbled over it by accident as well, as I was setting up a new 21H1 test installation.
Was wondering already whether this is M$ or RME magic ;-)

Yeah that was fast support from RME, it's a shame every other manufacturer or developer are centuries behind.
The way MC says 'the installer got some improvements' brings to mind the programming dudes getting kicked in the head a few times for their errors..

Hi MC
What would be great is a new facility to announce s/w updates across all devices and utilities. I think sometimes the pinned topics are not always updated anymore? Maybe an RSS feed? Or just a webpage that lists each new update? Sometimes we don't know that we need something till we know about it :-)
