Topic: Any way to stop RME Thunderbolt Settings app from starting (UFX+)?

Hi all
Is there any way to stop the RME Thunderbolt Settings app from starting when my UFX+ is connected (on Mac)? I never use this tool and just shut it down whenever it starts anyway. It also uses a reasonable amount of CPU that I can’t afford when using Apple’s MainStage. At the very least, it causes MainStage’s CPU usage meter to show an extra 10% CPU usage and that makes it difficult to be aware of whether I’m experiencing high CPU with other aspects of MainStage.

If I don’t normally have any use for this tool, does anyone know if there’s a way to stop it from autostarting? I’d rather have the option of starting it manually when I need it rather than it autostarting and me having to always shut it down.

Well, I’ve solved this problem by creating an AppleScript application that autostarts at login and quits the RME Thunderbolt Settings app after a delay.
