Topic: Babyface - USB port broken

Hello, the USB port has gone loose inside the Babyface (old model)  Is it possible to have a guy solder this you think, or is the card dead?

no one has any experience when it comes to soldering stuff in an RME device?

If anyone can tell me how to upload a photo from my computer I can show you a photo of the problem

Then post the link.

For repair the first adress is the RME support :support@rme-audio.com

Alternativ you can look out for a share repair spot in your city.
It can be repaired and the USB socket exchange is not a big deal.
Your interface is not lost.

I'm afraid we can not provide repair instructions. We'd suggest to send the unit in. DIY repair will be at your own risk, sorry.
