Topic: Lose ADI-2 DAC as an output after exceeding 384kHz sampling

Windows recognizes the DAC as an audio output till I exceed 384Khz Sample Rate. In the manual it talks about ASIO can only be used for 768 kHz and the driver includes a way to set the higher sample rate. It then refers back to the section where it shows setting the sample rate in the "MADIface Series settings". If I set the sample rate here I then lose the DAC as an output. Would someone be able to explain to me what I am missing? I installed the drivers .9735 driver and updated the firmware to Hardware ver 60. Downloaded both off the website today.

That's the maximum Windows/WDM will support...

In other words: only ASIO can do 7xx.

Matthias, off topic question, what RME means? Ralf Männel Electronics, or Ralf Matthias Electronics?
