Topic: Uninstall old drivers important?

Hey @all,

my new Fireface UCX2 is arriving today and I have a question:

There are "old" drivers on the system, Firewire and USB. Is it recommended to totally uninstall all of them or does it not matter at all? It is an M1 MacMini with Big Sur
If yes, how can I completely uninstall the old drivers?

Thank you!

Best wishes
Bernd.

Re: Uninstall old drivers important?

How can there be 'old' drivers on an M1 system? Anyway, no need to uninstall. Just put the latest drivers on, and note this one:

Thank you, Matthias, for your quick reply!

"Old" meaning not the absolute newest and also the ff400 which are not needed anymore smile

Re: Uninstall old drivers important?

For the FF400 follow the uninstall instructions found in the FF802 manual, they are more up to date.
