Topic: Unbalanced RCA output connected to a Phono?
Hi, I would like to know if the RCA output of the AIO pro can be plugged to a Phono input most amps that have both normal RCA and Phono specific RCA (NAD, Marantz, etc.)

No, phono has extra amp and eq. Plus specific impedance needs.
I was asking this because the RME has different amp values, so I thought it could be used with phono inputs.
Point is the EQ. Google for RIAA compensation.
After reading a little bit about RIAA, so in theory (correct me if I'm wrong) those Phono inputs add/compensate RIAA EQ?
So in other words the problem is not the input per say, is the EQ compensation that manufacturers add to phono inputs?
Mainly. Plus a whole lot of amplification.
Ok, thanks for the explanation.
