Topic: Talkback using Loopback

Just a quick one, couldn't see anything written about this?

In totalmix you can only select one input to be the "talkback" input. I'd assumed that if I wanted to use two talkback microphones I'd be able to route them to an output in totalmix, then use "loopback" on that channel to mix the two signals to a single "loopback-input". It doesn't work...!? Shouldn't it? I'd rather not have to run a short TRS-TRS from a line out to a line in to make this possible!

Re: Talkback using Loopback

The Loopback signal does not appear in Totalmix, it only goes to the recording signal path (replacing the physical input signal). Use a cable loop....

Re: Talkback using Loopback

Thanks. Fair enough! I was aware it wouldn't show on the loopback meters totalmix but I still assumed the signal would be accessible there.
