Hi,
I read the forum for a right Traktor Babyface pro settings solution, and see that many people had the same problem:
( TheMain output goes to headphones too :-(
can someone please share the right preset settings for this problem for download ? i try it all day but i do not get it. thank you.

The Problem is that i hear the Main Output in the Headphone Output,... how should i change this? it is possible?

And yes, of course it is possible to hear on the headphones only the sound that you send there.
The output configuration of Traktor is also important.

You hear the master output of Traktor on the headphone because you send it there.
That looks good.
You have a master-output and a monitor-output in Traktor.
What do you want ?
Listen the monitor-output on the headphone and the master-output on the main-out loudspeakers ?
i want:
- the traktor master output to the babyface main output
- and the tracktor monitor output to the babyface headphones
OK I see you named the software-playback channels already.
Now pull down fully the fader of the Traktor channel.
The second channel is the signal from the monitor-output of Traktor, it is sent to the headphones, all right.

As you have internet you may take a little time and lookout in Youtube for Totalmix (beginners) videos, there are a few made by RME, it will be an eye-opener.
...it's so easy, I can't believe it... This is what everybody says after watching those videos !

it`s me again.., yesterday i lost my well funktioning preset .., and i can`t make it work again (shame). now my problem is that the i cant see the Phone 1 Output channel , how can i see it again?

To get the Phones 1 output channel back :
next to the main-out are some buttons, the bottom one ASSIGN you have to click and assign the Phones 1 to PH
I am trying to slave a Fireface 800 to my X8P without much success. I need some help from the community. I am slaving the FF800 to the X8P using Word Clock and connecting the ADAT 1 out on the FF800 to the ADAT 1 in on the X8P. I am trying to use ADAT 1-4 as inputs 9-12 in Logic. I don't see anything like ADAT inputs in Logic, nor am I getting any signal in Console. I believe I have Total Mix set properly (maybe not) and the FF800 Settings confirms slaving. Do I need another ADAT cable from FF800 ADAT 1 in to X8P out? I hate to buy another slave unit, always had great results with the FF800, but is it obsolete? Any further insights on the procedure I should be using?
In Logic you will not see ADAT that's normal.
You have input channels in Logic and on some of them are the signals.
You can not choose 9-12 input channels, the signal will arrive on the input channels fix, you have to find them.
You say you use wordclock, you have connected a BNC cable between the two units ?
