Topic: Update issue with Fireface 800 / Yosemite 10.10.5

Hello,

I'm new with using my Firefire 800 and i had an issue with inputs.
I tried to install the last flash update but during the process it failed. Now my fireface is back in v1.38 instead of v2.77 and I cannot access it with my current driver (last up to date).
I tried to install the oldest drivers but i still my fireface is not recognized and stay in Host mode so i cannot update the flash anymore. The message I get while trying is "Failed with error D0000000".

Some precisions: i run into OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 and the driver version is 3.391 (i also tried with 2.75).

What can I do? Please help me!

I can only recommend to send the unit in for programming to the latest firmware PLUS doing some useful modifications and rework. As this unit is VERY old it needs that. Will not be for free, obviously.

Thank you for your reply! This is what I thought, but I wanted to check if there was another way before sending it back just for reprogramming.

I will try to contact to contact the company in charge of the RME Support in France then.
