Topic: 2Bar Level Meter and Vector Audio Scope showing different Peaks

Hello there to everybody.
I wonder, why 2Bar Level Meter and Vector Audio Scope are showing different Peaks (DC V4.53). This gives me a unsecure feeling in setting the right level.

Am i the only one experiencing that? It?s the same on my XP Sytem as well on my Vista System. Greetz

Re: 2Bar Level Meter and Vector Audio Scope showing different Peaks

You switched on OVS which is not available for the Vector Scope. See online help, F1.

Yes, you are right. I checked it now also with the live input disabling OVS and peaks show the same levels now. Thank You!

Re: 2Bar Level Meter and Vector Audio Scope showing different Peaks

Here I?m again. I made a screenshot off my studio pc. Here it shows the level meter during a recording session (input level). There are definitly two different peaks measured. I?m using dc vers. 4.42.

I would be happy about an explanation. Thanks!

For your explanation: The first screenshots where made on my new MAC with a Vista installation. I?m preparing that one for the use in the studio. There I?m still using my old system.
